We are seeking individuals who are committed to safety, have a positive attitude, excellent work ethic and a desire to work in a manufacturing facility.
Key Functions:
Total commitment to working safe and following all safety rules and regulations.
Responsible for cleaning the assigned production area - sweeping and removing debris and lumber.
Safely operates and maintains a gas forklift to unload, move, store, stage, load and unload products Safe start up and shut down of equipment in assigned are of responsibility Interpreting work instructions adequately and successfully completing tasks as delegated Accurately counts units, multiplies, adds, subtracts, and records, totals Must demonstrate willingness and ability to learn new jobs and skills Attention to detail and accuracy Communicating with team members and leadership to ensure consistent exchange of information relative to position Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Resume detailing education and work history is required for consideration Minimum two (2) years of experience operating forklifts and/or other mobile lift equipment Willingness and dedication to wear all personal protective equipment required Previous Forklift operator certification Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship Ability to work within a team to resolve issues and complete tasks Able to perform basic math and computer skills Good communication skills Willingness to work any shift, including weekends and holidays Willingness to work overtime should conditions require Willingness to work a 12 hour rotating shift schedule Physical ability to work in extreme heat and/or cold Physical ability to perform the essential physical functions of the position which includes climbing stairs, navigating catwalks, lifting up to 50 lbs, stooping and bending Willingness and ability to learn new jobs and skills About Wood Products We've been delivering quality building products and solutions to our customers for more than 100 years.
